Basic Entry Requirements:

5 subjects at Grade E or above in the HKCEE including English Language (Syllabus B) Grade E / (Syllabus A) Grade C and Mathematics; or pass in the Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Project Yi Jin; or equivalent.

Course Aims :

The course aims to provide students with the necessary web design, Internet applications, electronic commerce knowledge and technological skills so that they can successfully contribute to the development and management of Internet-based business systems in industrial and commercial enterprises. They can apply the knowledge in building company image and branding, promotion and advertising, sales and marketing, strengthen communication with customers, provide information and interactive services, and streamline business operations. Cultivating multi-disciplinary skills should facilitate students to build up their careers with more choices.

Career Prospects :

Graduates may take up positions such as Web Designer, Web Editor, Web Developer, Web Administrator, Systems Analyst and Programmer, Operator and Technical Support, Sales and Marketing, Promoter and Advertiser, and posts that involve design, development, operation, support, promotion and management of Internet-based business systems. They are suited to work in small and medium enterprises to design web-based information systems for general business, online promotion, customer relationship management and electronic commerce as well as to join business or technical teams in larger organizations.
