Basic Entry Requirements:

Completion of Secondary 5; or pass in Certificate in Vocational Studies; or equivalent. This course includes a module "Chinese" and applicants are expected to have studied Chinese up to Secondary 5 level.

Course Aims :

The primary aim of the course is to deliver a quality education, with vocational and generic elements, that will enable successful students to achieve an award which is recognised as at least equivalent to 5 Grade E passes in the HKCEE for application of IVE / SBI courses. The course focuses heavily on communication, in particular English, Chinese and Information Technology, as these areas are particularly important in the workplace.

Career Prospects :

Students can benefit from this course which enhances skills required for employment in various fields of the information technology and computing sector and at the same time serves as a solid preparation for further studies in Certificate/Diploma/Higher Diploma Courses of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education.
