Certificate in Preparation for Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (Part-time)
國家語委普通話水平測試備試證書 (兼讀制) |

Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching materials; and |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in one of the following areas: |
|
|
(i) |
Chinese Language / Chinese Language and Literature / Language Studies (Chinese) / Chinese Linguistics / Education (Chinese); OR |
|
|
(ii) |
Translation / Teaching Chinese as a Second Language or as a Foreign Language. A transcript with course details should be provided for consideration; |
|
(b) |
An Examiner of Putonghua Proficiency Test by the State Language Commission of China (國家語委普通話水平測試員資格); |
|
(c) |
At least three years' relevant teaching experience; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Relevant work experience would be an advantage. |

The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Appointees may be required to perform duties at different IVDC sites such as Lai Chi Kok, Fanling, Ma On Shan, Tuen Mun, Tseung Kwan O and other campus. |

(4) |
Appointees will be remunerated at an hourly rate |
