Young people face many challenges in growing up. Helping children to plan ahead without over-parenting is of paramount importance. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) will hold a Parents’ Talk series titled “Pause for a Moment… Listen to Your Children’s Voice” to provide parents with tips on how to advise children’s academic and career pathways.

The series comprises three talks with information on positive thinking, diversified progression pathways, and the latest job market trends so as to help parents to build a trusting relationship and 2-way communication with their children for unleashing their potential in the future (please refer to Annex for details).
