Course Description

This course aims to enable Hong Kong registered seamen to fulfill the STCW (1995) requirement.

The course includes the theory and practical training of using the life raft as required by the STCW (1995) VI/1 amendment.
General Class Time Monday to Friday : 08:25-16:50 (one hour lunch at the student's own cost)

Note(s):

(1) Training charges have already been included in the fees of Higher Diploma in Maritime Studies and Junior General Purpose Rating courses.
(2) Registered local seafarers will be charged at 30% recovery rate.
(3) Non-registered local seafarers and non-permanent residents will be charged at full cost recovery rate.
(4) Non-VTC students who are eligible for apply for Seaman's Discharge Books will be charged at 30% recovery rate.
