Applicants with outstanding achievements in NON-ACADEMIC fields may apply for admission under the following special admission schemes during the application period (1 December 2011 to 29 February 2012) :
- The Principal's Nomination Scheme (PNS)
- The Self-Nomination Scheme (SNS) (Note 1)

| How to apply | (1) Applicant to submit an online application and pay application fee via the “Web-based Admissions System”; AND | |
| (2) School's Principal to submit an online nomination(s) and upload copies of the supporting documents via the "Web-based Principal's Nomination Scheme System" on or before 29 February 2012 | (2) Complete the online Self-Nomination Form and upload copies of the supporting documents via the “Web-based Admissions System” on or before 29 February 2012 | |

Applicants not accepted under these special admission schemes will continue to be considered for admission under general procedures on the basis of a comparison of their public examination results and / or other academic qualifications with those of all other applicants |

Note 1
The SNS is applicable to applications for admission to Higher Diploma Programmes.

Note 2
Achievements in non-academic fields do not include the HKCEE / HKALE or school academic results. Applicants must have attained a very high standard in non-academic fields during the past thee years, as supported by documentary evidence. Inter-class competition results will not normally be considered.
