Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi)
The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is a member institution of the VTC. It consists of the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Management and Hospitality, the Faculty of Science and Technology and a Department of General Education. THEi offers vocationally-oriented bachelor’s degree programmes developed with close industry collaboration for HKDSE graduates that feature an optimal balance between theory and practice, as well as general education and vocational elements that meet industry and professional requirements. Real-life projects and industrial attachments are important parts of the curriculum to provide students with practical work experience, with the aim of developing them into caring, competent, creative and ethical professionals with an international outlook. Programmes offered in AY 2013/14 cover Advertising, Fashion Design, Product Design, Landscape Architecture, Sports and Recreation Management, Chinese Culinary Arts and Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Management, and Health Care.
