Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English Language and Chinese Language; OR VTC Foundation Diploma (Level 3) / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR VTC Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education; OR Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma Yi Jin; OR Equivalent.
Multi-disciplinary curriculum covers the required skill sets and knowledge of music and digital entertainment industry enabling students to participate in its operation and management. This programme aims to provide students with a comprehensive training and practicum on the production, operation, promotion and management aspects of music and digital entertainment industry. Students will acquire practical and hands-on experience through workplace attachment or industrial collaborative projects.
This is the first batch of higher diploma programmes adopting dual-track learning approach by going through workplace training and receiving classroom teaching at the same time.
Graduates are able to take up various positions including Assistant Promotion and Marketing Manager (Music & Entertainment), Concert Tour Coordinator, Music Production Administration Officer, Social Media Editor or Artiste Executive. They may also set up their own company to provide management service to the industry.
Graduates can pursue relevant top-up degrees locally or overseas. They can apply for admission to the top-up degree programme in Hong Kong offered by the overseas universities below in collaboration with SHAPE :

The department will invite guest speakers from various professions and arrange relevant workplace attachments for students to enhance their professional knowledge and employability.
Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
