Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English Language and Chinese Language; OR VTC Foundation Diploma (Level 3) / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR VTC Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education; OR Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma Yi Jin; OR Equivalent.
This programme aims to enable students to pursue careers in multinational enterprises engaging in international business and trade. It emphasizes practical trainings and covers business languages (Japanese/Korean/Spanish), academic, technical and managerial skills in international business environment, legal and finance aspects, e-marketing, cross cultural management skills, practical exhibition management and quality management.
This programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better equip students for further studies and employment after graduation.
Graduates may take up a broad perspective in international business and trade sectors. They are equipped to enter into careers at officer/executive or assistant level in areas such as administration, business, finance, shipping, exhibition, marketing, sourcing, logistics and quality control in multinational enterprises.
Graduates can pursue relevant degrees locally or overseas. They can also apply for admission to the top-up degree programmes in Hong Kong offered by the following universities in collaboration with the School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) :
The Business Administration Discipline has established closed relationship and partnership with business enterprises and professional bodies. The department will invite guest speakers from various professions and arrange related workplace attachments for students to enhance their professional knowledge and employability.
VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
