Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English Language and Chinese Language; OR VTC Foundation Diploma (Level 3) / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR VTC Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education; OR Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma Yi Jin; OR Equivalent.
This programme aims to provide students with a solid foundation of various business operations and practices in aviation, airline, airport and passenger transport industry (e.g. rail, bus and cruise). It also enables students to establish a correct and positive attitude to customers and customer services, and acquire the necessary skills and tools to deliver quality customer services.
The programme is also designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further students and employment after graduation.
Graduates can have a wide range of career in the field of either "passenger transport", including :
flight attendant, customer service officer (landside / airside), airport service assistant, ramp control officer, cruise ambassador, airline marketing officer, passenger sales executive, bus service coordinator, train ambassador and station control officer;
or "customer services management", including :
retail operation trainee, call center operation trainee, customer service representative, customer care officer, tele-sales executive, supervisory trainee in various industries.
Graduates can apply for top-up degree programmes offered by local and overseas universities or receive exemptions from them. In particular, graduates can apply for admission to the following programmes jointly run by School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) and universities:
The programme has maintained close contact with the passenger transport industry. We regularly invite guest speakers from industry and arrange aviation-related workplace attachments for students.
